Introduction Chapter 02 – summary of Clearing in the sky for FA, FSC 1st Year

This is an old man's story who is physically weak but mentally strong. He was warned that he would not live more than a few weeks. So, he should spend his remaining days with his family. The doctors warn him not to work in the fields otherwise he will die soon. But he does not listen to them and carries on his ambitions. At a young age, he cultivated land on the top of the mountain. There he cultivated many vegetables like Alfalfa, Pins, etc. He has made this beautiful land because making land like this place will save animals and other destructive creatures. One day he decides to show this beautiful land to his son. He starts traveling with him to see his beautiful land. He climbs up the mountain which shows he is still strong. He can do anything without any difficulty. It was the fruit of an old man's labor that he made this land at the top of the land although he was physically weak. The story reveals the old man's deep love for nature and the strength of the human spirit. The moral lesson of the story is that humans should not give up on their ambitions. Although he is physically weak but mentally he will always be strong. They should always carry on their work without knowing about others' views. A mentally strong person always achieves his goal even he is physically weak. In the story, the old man makes his land at the top of the mountain because he has made up his mind for doing this. Although the doctors warn him not to work, he does not listen to them.
